How to use the magnets that come with your travel palettes

Hazel Scott

You will find small magnets with most travel palettes I ship out. I usually mail a little note saying how to use it, but in case you lose the note or find typing the URL a bit of a hassle (so sorry!), I have finally gotten around to uploading the video on YouTube.

Because of their small size, these palettes have a tendency to move around when you mix on them, so what I do is attach magnets on the side so they stick and stay put beside the tin. You can stick these magnets to the plastic palettes with good old Mighty Bond. You can see what I mean at 0:11 on this video:

Adding the magnets will affect how the palettes fit back in the tin, so you might want to measure before sticking on all sides. I've measured those palettes vs. the tins right to the last millimeter so even a thin magnet might affect the fit. I’m always looking to improve my products, so if you have any feedback about them, please do let me know.

With many thanks,
H
