September: Philippine plants in season

September: Philippine plants in season

Hazel Scott

The rainy season is typically in full swing with the south west monsoon, or Habagat season, expected to affect the country for another month or so. It's generally not a great time to travel because of the rains but for the same reason, Philippine gardens would be looking lush around September. Just like in August, there are lots of flowers and fruits to enjoy!

This is a list of plants currently growing in the Philippines, not all of these are native.
